Role of Travel Consultant:

Selling holidays, flights, accommodation, cruises, car hire etc.
Offering travel advice, up selling where appropriate
Providing excellent customer serve at all times
Building strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
Working to and achieving sales targets

Necessary skills required:

Previous travel industry experience would be advantageous
Good geographical knowledge
Sales driven and self motivated
Ability to work on own initiative
Strong customer service skills
